BADRINARAYAN Residence

The Badrinath temple, the focal point of Badrinath Dham, is thought to have been founded by the saint and philosopher Adi Shankaracharya in the seventh century. A black stone idol of Lord Vishnu, also known as Badrinarayan, is kept in the shrine. The magnificent snow-covered mountains that serve as the temple's backdrop contrast sharply with the elaborate design and vivid colours of its exterior.

A trip to Badrinath Dham is a profoundly mystical event. Pilgrims bathe in the sacred Tapt    Kund, which are naturally occurring hot springs with healing qualities. Every day, the temple isfilled with the sweet sound of hymns being chanted during Aarti, a devotional offering of light.

As a part of Char Dham pilgrimage, which encompasses four holy sites in the Himalayas, the journey itself is extremely significant to pilgrims.

Nestled on the banks of the Alaknanda River, the town of Badrinath provides a tranquil haver. In summer, visitors can travel through the Valley of Flowers, a blanket of vivid blooms, or explore Mana Village, the final settlement before the China border.
